Jaguar says all vehicles with have electric options by 2020

It's been more than a decade since car makers actively began providing hybrid or all-electric options as part of their vehicle lineups. In that time the prices have come down and the options have increased including SUVs and sports cars. Jaguar has committed to the new technology announcing that their entire lineup by 2020 will have some form of all-electric or hybrid option.

"We will introduce a portfolio of electrified products across our model range, embracing fully electric, plug-in hybrid and mild hybrid vehicles," said Chief Executive Ralf Speth.

Jaguar even plans a roadster sports car that is all electric. The concept car was unveiled last month at the Concours d’Elegance with a 40kWh battery-powered electric motor.
