Get Ready For the 2018 Jaguar XF Sportbrake, First U.S.-Bound Wagon in 30 Years!

As hard as it is to believe, three decades have elapsed since a Jaguar wagon was offered on our shores. These days, estates like the XF Sportbrake are sequestered to the European markets, as many think us Americans prefer crossover as the utility flavor of the year. Yet the Big Cat doesn’t think so, which is why it’s offering this sporty estate in the U.S. starting this winter.

A wagon like the XF Sportbrake combines crossover utility with a lower sport sedan ride height and driving dynamics. So while Jaguar’s entry can handle up to 70 cu-ft of cargo with its rear seats folded, it also sprints to sixty in 5.3 seconds thanks to its supercharged V6 under the hood. That engine is rated at 380 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, and is sent to a rear-bias AWD system by a ZF eight-speed automatic. Jaguar has also made a hands-free tailgate standard, with selectable opening height for low garages, as well as a variety of driver assistance tech on the options sheet.

To experience the utility, practicality, and performance of this impressive new Jaguar, contact our showroom in Austin, TX as it’s convenient. When it arrives this winter, we’d be happy to set you up for a test drive.
